Why, Tepilo, why?

The debate continues to rage: whether online estate agents will prevail over those on the High Streets of Britain.

Will the “new upstarts” (who don’t have the overheads of shop fronts and branded Minis to cope with, and who charge less for selling a property because they offer a less hands-on approach) overcome the more traditional business model of the local office manned by local people serving the local community?

I have always maintained that there is room in the market place for both types of business.

And space, too, for those estate agents who adopt a “hybrid” option: accompanied viewings and premium advertising for those vendors willing to pay for it, unaccompanied viewings and less support for those who prefer to take a gamble and save their cash.

But what I firmly believe is this: whichever route the business takes, it should be honest, show integrity, and play by the rules.

With this in mind, I ask this question:

Why, oh why, is this property still accessible on the internet?

Come on, Ms Beeny. The sale of this house completed on 25th July. Surely you should have removed it from your website by now?

OH. AND TO BE CLEAR: I’M TALKING ABOUT 25th JULY 2014! THAT’S MORE THAN A YEAR AGO!<
